About the event
'Replacing Animal Research is a charity based in Nottingham, and they fund and promote alternatives to animal testing.
Founded in London in 1969 by animal lover Dorothy Hegarty her aim was to promote and assist research into new techniques and valid scientific substitutes to replace animal research in medical, biological and pharmaceutical research.
Now, Replacing Animal Research focuses on three core areas of change: supporting research, education, and policy work.
Together we will create a better world for animals and humans.
Amy is available to conduct a class-size group session or an assembly that will briefly discuss the issue and the charitable aspect. This offer is available to students in Year 9 and up at schools in the Nottingham area.’
