The Wilsthorpe School, Long Eaton project, compromises of the demolition of the existing Sports Hall and Sixth Form buildings and combine these in a brand-new, purpose-built facility. The building work commenced in summer 2023, with completion scheduled for summer 2024.

The work on site is being carried out by the Sir Robert McAlpine group - and the visit allows students to see the variety of trades involved in a complex build.
